Just because your parents or grandparents did things differently in the past doesn’t mean they’re wrong today. The only difference today is that they didn’t have the same experiences that you are having.

One thing I would say about parents or grandparents is that they dont have to go to college to learn from their past mistakes. It is possible for every generation to learn from the mistakes of the last generation. To use an example from my own life, I would probably not let my 11-year old daughter watch the first episode of a sports show on TV, but she has been watching sports on television for a couple of years now.

One of the great things about living in a world where we have access to all sorts of information is the ability to use it to our advantage.
