I love sports bars. I have been to a lot of them in the past, but never have I been so impressed by a sports bar and never have I been so bored all at the same time. This one is no exception. The bar area is open and airy, the food selection is massive, and the service is excellent. I spent a few hours here and I can’t say enough about this place.
I had the first drink of my day at this one, and I’ll be damned if it wasn’t the best drink I had all day. I’ve been to a few different sports bars, and this one was by far the best.
This bar, which looks like it’s been around for a while, is no stranger to sports fans. The owner, Ryan O’Leary, is a former player for the Minnesota Twins, so he’s a pretty busy guy. Like a lot of sports bars, there’s a huge range of drinks from the cheap-tasting’soda’ to the well-priced ‘beer’ and from the $5 ‘cocktail’ to the $35 ‘cocktail club.
This isn’t to say that the bartender is an idiot. He’s just not a big fan of the kind of beers (and wine) that this bar caters to. The drinks are a lot more drinkable and more enjoyable than I expected.
Thats not to say that this bar isnt great. Ive been here for a couple of years and its my favorite place to drink. Its just its way too busy to really enjoy sitting around.
I had a few drinks at this bar, but I honestly never got around to liking it. Its just too crowded and busy. Its a good place, but its just too busy for my tastes.
I thought this was a place where you could get a wide variety of beers, but I guess that is its real purpose. It seems like its one of those bars that just caters to a specific group of people. For me it was the most popular, but I can see why others might feel the same way.
The other thing that makes this bar popular is that there is a wide variety of food options, from burritos to tacos to salads. There is also, apparently, a dog area, so I guess the dog’s owner doesn’t really need to be there for his dog to have a good time. I guess everyone should be having fun, but that’s a lot of fun to just get from a single bar.
Some people love this area, others dont. It depends on the people who come in. If they are a fan of sports, there will be some pretty good sports bars at the end of the bar. If they are a fan of Mexican food, there will be a very popular Mexican restaurant. If they are a fan of a beer bar, then the beer selection will be pretty bad. If the atmosphere is quiet (no loud music or loud chatter), then it’s a quieter place.
That’s why there is a sports bar. If you come in and you wanna have a lot of fun, but you dont wanna be a lot of fun, just go to a sports bar. For a more serious crowd, there are a lot of nice, quiet bars.
