Serafina is a game that is about time-looping. To really get into the game, you don’t really need to buy it. The game is really easy to pick up and play. It can be done in one or two hours, but it is also very rewarding.
One thing that makes this game unique, is the fact that it has three different time-looping mechanics. First there is the story-based time-looping, where you play as Colt Vahn and you can take out the Visionaries by killing them and their henchmen. Then there is the puzzle-based time-looping, where you play as Colt Vahn and try and solve puzzles to gain some time-loops.
The story-based time-looping is pretty simple. You are given a series of clues about what to do to kill each Visionary. But you can also get more involved by killing a couple of the Visionary’s henchmen, leaving them to go on a suicide mission, and/or taking out the Visionary leader himself.
So far this is the first Deathloop game that has been set in the future, but the story of its plot is quite solid. The game will take place 20 years from now, so you’ll probably have plenty of time to put in a few more hours.
While the game’s plot is well thought out, the character you play as is a bit of a mess. Serafina is a 20-year-old genius of a female who is only half a person. She is smart, beautiful, and capable of amazing feats. She is not a good person, but she is a good scientist who is trying to help humanity. She knows that killing Visionaries is going to get her killed, so she needs to do something else.
